I’ve always been a runner. From middle school track all the way to college level athletics, I never stopped running. And well into my twilight years at the age of 68, I was still training for marathons, sprints, and amateur races.
Having been able to avoid the large majority of debilitating complications due to age, I felt unstoppable. I thought I’d hit the genetic lottery! But I was counting my chickens before they hatched, because I started to feel these really bad aches and pains in my legs and feet.
It all started with a normal warm-up around my local park. I was going to do three laps, as I normally do, then take a short break. But after my first lap, I just had to sit down and rest my feet. They hurt so much!
My feet had started to swell, and there was a sharp pain riding up my leg. Both my heels felt tight and anytime I tried to take a step, that sharp pain would whip out like a crack of lightning from my heels.
I sat on a park bench for thirty minutes, waiting for the pain to go away. Once it did, I went home right away. But I thought maybe this was a one-time thing.
It wasn’t. Days turned to weeks with no improvement in sight. In fact, it was getting worse. I could barely get around without any assistance, and I was forced to stop running.
So I visited my doctor.
But the doctor was of no help
“You have plantar fasciitis.” my doctor said.
And at his many recommendations, I tried gel insoles, all sorts of prescription pain pills, excruciating injections stabbed directly into my feet, massages, icing my feet, heat therapy, and more– all to no avail.
I even tried “natural” remedies from ‘holistic medicine’ experts that had little to no effect.
Everything was useless. And even with various drugs, I had to make serious adjustments to my lifestyle. I had to cut out running completely! I hated it. I was losing my independence. What was next? Being shoved into a care home in just a few short years? My own body was failing me and stripping away my independence and freedom.
I lost hope.
Then one day, my neighbor recommended a foot specialist
“Another doctor?” were the first words that came out of my mouth.
After all, every doctor I had visited so far had been overwhelmingly useless. But I went anyway. When I got there, I expected the doctor to tell him that I had to get another shot or an operation or more medicine or just something generally invasive and unpleasant. But instead…
“Looks like you have Plantar Fasciitis, take these Dr Sock Soothers. Wear them at night while you sleep. They’re compression socks designed to help with plantar fasciitis, heel pain, and swollen feet,” the doctor said.
“What sets these apart from all the other compression socks is that these heal you during the night so you can live your life normally during the day. Do this every night for 1 week, then come back and see me.”
The doctor ushered me out of the office before I could ask any questions. Was this really all I needed?
I felt like maybe I had gone to ANOTHER quack! But he did mention some interesting things. I wasn’t convinced, but I was intrigued.
With no explanation, all I had were a pair of socks in my hands. So later that night when I got home…
I did some digging on the Dr Sock Soother compression socks
What exactly made Dr Sock Soother compression socks different from other compression socks?
And this is where things get interesting. Dr Sock Soothers utilizes a brand new, patented technology that they dub “omni-compression technology”.
After a long day on your feet or doing anything that’ll guarantee a sore foot (which is every day), just put on Dr Sock Soothers at night.
It’ll activate its patented omni-compression technology, which promotes increased blood flow and circulation.
That results in de-oxygenated blood cells and toxins being carried away, while bringing in new, healthy blood back into the foot. You’ll get reduced swelling in the feet and a whopping 6x increase in muscle recovery when compared to other compression socks or alternative methods.
To put it simply, it’ll heal your feet at night and get them feeling like new for the next day. It’s basically like giving your feet a continuous massage!
And that’s why runners and athletes also swear by Dr Sock Soothers.
People with plantar fasciitis, athletes, and folks with feet pain have been wearing it while they sleep, and say they’re waking up to no pain at all!
It also helps retain body heat and provides a sensation of being embraced, which helps a person fall asleep faster and stay asleep all night. This then leads to even more effective recovery!
As someone who had trouble sleeping because of my foot pain and soreness, this was basically killing two birds with one stone!
This was good and all, but what did others have to say about Dr Sock Soothers?
I searched all over social media and looked for reviews on the internet…
Dr Sock Soothers even has thousands of 5-star reviews from happy customers, here are just some of them:

After hundreds of trips to various doctors and specialists, the one thing that actually ended up working was Dr Sock Soother socks. First impressions weren’t anything special, but wearing it for one night is all it took to have me convinced. It’s quite comfortable and highly effective for soothing foot aches. Absolutely worth every penny

I never would have expected a pair of socks to take care of decades of foot pain. I was a runner in high school, and since then, my feet have always seemed a little off. They would hurt quite a bit even after I did everything my coaches and doctors told me to at the time. It’s why I didn’t think Dr Sock Soothers would work, because I had tried compression socks before. But these really are different, mainly because they actually work. Highly recommend

Are Dr Sock Soothers a miracle cure? No, probably not. But is it a cure that works? Yeah, at least for me. It’s been close to a year since I started using Dr Sock Soothers. I don’t wear them every night, but whenever I have a particularly tough day, I’ll put them on before I sleep. Then I wake up fine and dandy. And so for the past year, I’ve not had to worry about foot pain basically at all
Dr Sock Soothers seemed like something I should definitely try
The evidence I found seemed to be in complete support of my doctor’s advice. So maybe he wasn’t a complete quack after all.
To describe how I felt before trying on the Dr Sock Soothers… I’d say I was apprehensively excited.
I still wasn’t 100% sold, but I had nothing to lose and I was willing to try anything at this point.
I also liked that it wasn’t going to be hindering me or my lifestyle. It’s not like I had to recover after an operation or carry a cane with me.
If everything worked out as explained to me, it would just be like wearing a sock– something I already do.
So I gave it a spin
Right off the bat, I was worried that Dr Sock Soothers would be too hot at night.
I’m a bit of a hot sleeper, so any additional heat was not something I was looking forward to.
But fortunately, that ended up not being an issue. The open toe design allowed my skin to breathe despite it hugging my feet, which was a very pleasant surprise.
But to summarize, Dr Sock Soothers helped me fall asleep faster, stay asleep throughout the night, and got rid of my foot pain.
I’ve gone ahead and also included a more detailed account of my experience:
Day 1:
The first day was somewhat uneventful. I went to sleep with the Dr Sock Soothers on, expecting an uncomfortable night, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice they felt. The biggest difference, however, was when I woke up. I didn’t notice it at first.
Years of rolling out of bed at 7am, zombie shuffling into the bathroom to wash up, then getting ready for the day had ingrained itself in me. And that’s exactly what I did when I woke up. It wasn’t until I reached for my walker as I got ready to head out that I realized
“My feet don’t hurt, I don’t need to use the walker!”
That haunting pain that made me dread getting out of bed had become no more than a dull ache. I took a few minutes to take off the Dr Sock Soothers and my feet felt great. I carried on with the rest of my day with nothing to report. The pain did start to feel a tiny bit more pronounced toward the end of the day, but still felt like nothing compared to before.
Day 2:
I actually didn’t put on the Dr Sock Soothers before I went to sleep. I wanted to see how I would feel without it. I woke up feeling okay, which was a good sign. I didn’t sleep as well as the night before, but still not bad.
But I noticed that towards the middle of the day, my feet started to slowly hurt again. I didn’t need to put on the Dr Sock Soothers since it didn’t hurt that bad, but I put them on just to be safe. I was surprised at not only how effective the Dr Sock Soothers had been, but also for how long my feet felt good. Months and months of pain defeated by one night of wearing SOCKs.
For the rest of the month, I made sure to wear the socks every night before bed.
Day 7:
It’s the end of my first week with the Dr Sock Soothers on, and I could feel my feet getting better and better. My quality of life was skyrocketing like crazy. I started hiking again and going out on long walks around the local park. I didn’t want to do anything beyond some strenuous walking, just to be safe. I also started being able to continue work on my woodworking projects.
I started to feel like maybe I didn’t need to wear them every night because of how great I was feeling. But I figured I’d keep them on for a month or so just to really make sure that my foot heals and stays healed.
I was starting to feel really optimistic, and I was hoping to start resuming my more strenuous hobbies.
Day 25:
So after nearly a month, I felt incredible. I could go days without wearing the Dr Sock Soothers and feel not even the slightest discomfort in my feet. I went back to that doctor and thanked him for the recommendation. I guess not even he was expecting it to work so well, because he seemed pretty surprised at how much I had recovered. It was like my plantar fasciitis had just gone up in smoke!
I started doing some light training. Mostly jogging and more intense walking, but great all the way around. I was extremely pleased to be able to live my life the way I wanted again. That little fear of being sent to a care home was gone and taken care of, to my relief. After a year of being absolutely miserable, my recovery made it impossible for me to hold in my emotions. It was truly life changing.
Day 90:
I’m only adding this entry to add one thing: I RAN MY MARATHON! I’ve been using Dr Sock Soothers consistently for the last three months and it’s been amazing. It even helps after a particularly intense workout.
Using the Dr Sock Soothers after I finished the marathon made it so that I felt fine the next day! I ran 26 miles and felt like a million bucks the next day. I could kiss my Dr Sock Soothers!
Final Thoughts
Despite my initial skepticism, I’m happy that the Dr Sock Soothers compression socks exceeded my expectations. I mean, they’re SOCKS.
I know I’ve said that before, but come on, I was just so blindsided by how of all things, these socks worked better than EVERYTHING I had tried.
On top of that, with medication, massages, therapy, injections, and operations costing well into the thousands of dollars, the money Dr Sock saves is basically a no-brainer.
I feel like I’m 20 years younger. I’m like a tank, I feel indestructible!
And to be honest, I’ve already purchased four more Dr Sock Soothers since it looks like they give bundled discounts which was great for me.
I bought one for my cousin who works in construction, my sister who has flat feet and works on her feet all day long, my dad who suffers from muscle aches, and my nephew who’s an athlete.
After using Dr Sock Soothers for a month, I can confidently say that they’re worth it.
